MEMORIAL DAY

MAY 30, 2011

Memorial Day May 30. 2011 was celebrated in SLCCV with a parade  followed by a service by the Veterans Club and the SLCCV Players.   All of this was followed by an appropriate serving of hot dogs, soda and chips. We hope you were there. If not we hope these pictures will substitute.

  ***THE PARADE ***

Despite the heat of the day several decorated golf carts delighted those fortunate to appear in time to review them.  Unfortunately we were not able to record the cheers of the crowd that greeted them.

*** THE SERVICE ***

We begin with a picture of the crowd attending and then pictures acknowledging some of those whose efforts made this event  possible.  We thank them and Joanne Frey, HOA Activities Coordinator who led this effort.  Pictures continue on the next page.
