RECENT EVENTS

SLCCV is an active community and we find many opportunities to get together for a variety of reasons.  When it is possible to get pictures we will  report on the activities.  Pages will be kept for several months.

The Wynne Corporation sponsored a great picnic on July 4, 2010.  Robyn Smith and her staff carried it out with style!

Another successful Community Breakfast, sponsored by the Recreation Department, was held on June 24, 2010.

Father's Day was celebrated on June 19, 2010 with a luncheon sponsored by the SLCCV Homeowner's Association.

Memorial Day was celebrated May 31, 2010 with a parade of golf carts, a flag ceremony, presentations by the Veteran's Club and the SLCCV Players and ending in a hot dog lunch served to a packed auditiorium.

Mother's Day was celebrated May 8, 2010 with a fine lunch sponsored by the Homeowners Association

The Unsung Hero Award was presented this year to Gerrie Purcell by the SLCCV New England Club .
